In the vacant former city hall of Terneuzen, ArtBase presents a temporary exhibition. The exhibition features large-scale, space-filling installations from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp (M HKA). Artists from this collection have previously exhibited at Vleeshal in Middelburg, highlighting the shared history and long-standing collaboration between the two institutions.
The city hall of Terneuzen, which was officially designated a national heritage monument in the Post65 category in mid-June, is currently being prepared for a major renovation. The renovation and sustainability upgrades are scheduled to take place from September 2026 through the end of 2028.
Opening hours / Visiting Vleeshal Collection On Tour @ ArtBase Terneuzen:
Sunday 5 July – Sunday 13 September
Friday – Saturday – Sunday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
