Fascinating stories about the history of IJzendijke, a special guided walk, and an introduction to the work of Rossella Biscotti, currently on view at Museum Het Bolwerk as part of the exhibition Vleeshal Collection On Tour.

3:45 pm — Historical walk / guided tour through IJzendijke, exploring the remains of the Eighty Years’ War and hearing fascinating stories from Annie de Lijzer

Museum Het Bolwerk tells the history of the Zeeland Flanders border region. Rossella Biscotti’s work The Prison of Santo Stefano is a fitting addition to this context. Curator Julia Mullié will offer an inspiring introduction to the work. The subsequent walk, led by Annie de Lijzer, will take you through IJzendijke’s rich history.
