Post 65 in Zeeland, Landscape in Motion

On Saturday 24 January 2026, ArtBase kicks off the year with a programme about the Zeeland landscape.
Together with artists and experts, we look back at the interventions in this landscape during the period 1965-1990, and we examine the present and future of the Zeeland landscape.

Programme Saturday 24 January
15.00 - 15.10 Welcome by Cathy Jacob, director ArtBase Terneuzen, with an introduction to the 2026 programme.

15.10 - 16.15 Moderator Marie Jeanne de Rooij speaks with Erick de Lyon (artist), Quinten Buijsse (photographer), Christiaan Weiler (programme coordinator CBK Zeeland) and Godelieve Spaas (professor of Art | Culture | Transition at HZ University of Applied Sciences).

Artists Erick de Lyon and Quinten Buijsse were both born in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and often use the (Zeeland) landscape as inspiration for their work.
