Kunstenfestival Aardenburg |Blik Vooruit 2.0

Blik Vooruit 2.0 is a 10-day festival in the historic centre of the cultural city of Aardenburg and the border village of Eede. The opening is on Ascension Day, Thursday 14 May 2026. From Thursday 14 May through Monday 25 May, they offer an attractive and varied programme featuring captivating visual art, viewable daily from 12:00 to 17:00. There will also be music from the Blik Vooruit 2.0 generation and a wonderful fringe programme.

In 2026, Arts Festival Aardenburg (KFA) builds on the youth project Looking Forward with Blik Vooruit 2.0, which they successfully launched in the autumn of 2025 in Aardenburg in West Zeelandic Flanders. This year, Nico Out serves as artistic director of Blik Vooruit 2.0. Nico previously served as curator of the first edition of KFA in 2017. The theme is: "What the world needs."

Children and young people up to 18 years of age have free entry. Adults pay €7.50, including catalogue. Tickets are available at Het Gele Huis, Oude Markstraat 7, Aardenburg.
