Coexistence
in collaboration with VierVaart, Groede

How can you live and work as a human being and artist in harmony with nature? This question is central to the group exhibition Coexistence. Intensive research, material experiments and wonder about resilient and vulnerable nature characterize the work of the participating artists. The exhibition can be seen simultaneously at two locations; in the lobby of the city hall, Terneuzen and at VierVaart, a project space for contemporary art in Groede. A unique collaboration between two cultural institutions in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.

Artists Coexistence
Together with ArtBase Terneuzen, artist/curator Maartje Korstanje selected works by young artists and more established names, from Zeeland and beyond.

Coexistence shows work by: Rachel Bacon, Matea Bakula, Lieve van den Bijgaart, Frank Bruggeman, Caroline Coolen, Piet Dieleman, Lizan Freijsen (1960-2024), Elena Giolo, Esther de Graaf, Theo Jordans, Maartje Korstanje, Diana Scherer and Tanja Smeets
